1. The Short Version

This policy explains what DodoSolve ("we," "us," "our") knows about you, why we keep it, and what you can do about it. It applies to the DodoSolve website, browser extension, and connected features (the "Services"). Using the Services means you're okay with what's described here.

Two things worth stating up front:

• We do not sell or trade your data.
• We do not report your activity to your school, instructor, or any learning platform.

2. What We Collect

We only gather what's needed to run your account and keep the extension working.

• Account details — the name and email you sign up with, and a password stored in hashed form.
• Billing details — plan and payment status handled through our payment processor; card numbers stay with them, not with us.
• Access and session data — a user ID, subscription state, and the tokens that keep you signed in.
• Product usage — feature activity, settings, timestamps, and error logs that tell us the extension is behaving.
• Technical basics — IP address, browser, and operating system, used for security and troubleshooting.

3. How We Use It

Your data goes toward operating the Services and nothing unrelated. Specifically, to:

• create your account, sign you in, and confirm your subscription;
• run, maintain, and improve the extension and its answer suggestions;
• process payments and manage your plan;
• catch fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access;
• answer your support questions;
• meet legal obligations.

4. Who We Share It With

We share the minimum required to operate — and never with your institution.

• Service providers — payment, hosting, authentication, and analytics vendors who process data on our behalf under contract, only for these purposes.
• Legal — when a valid law, order, or safety need requires it, or to enforce our Terms.
• Business transfers — if the product is merged, acquired, or sold, account data may move with it; we'll give notice of a change like that.
• Never schools or LMS platforms — we don't hand your activity to Moodle, your instructor, or any educational institution. Your use of DodoSolve stays between you and us.

5. Retention

We keep your data only while your account is active or while a legitimate business or legal reason applies. Ask us to delete it and we will, except for anything we're legally required to hold onto.

6. Security — and Its Limits

We protect your data with encryption in transit, access controls, session handling, and routine security reviews. That said, no online service is perfectly secure. Do your part: use a strong, unique password and don't share your login.

7. Your Choices

Depending on where you live, you may be able to:

• See the personal data we hold about you;
• Fix anything inaccurate;
• Delete your data, within legal limits;
• Export a copy in a portable format;
• Opt out of marketing email;
• Limit or object to certain processing.

Email us to exercise any of these and we'll reply within a reasonable time.

8. Children

DodoSolve is built for students of college and high-school age and isn't intended for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their data. If a child under 13 has given us information without a guardian's consent, tell us and we'll remove it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We'll update this policy when our practices or the law change. The new version applies once it's posted here, and the "Last Updated" date shows when it last moved. Please look it over now and then.
